Bill Costaras DDS, FACE, FIADFE received his DDS and Post-Doctorate Certificate in Esthetic Dentistry at Case Western Reserve University. Dr. Costaras is one of the longest standing members of the prestigious American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry. Twenty years ago, his desire to be on the leading edge of cosmetic advances in dentistry lead Dr. Bill Costaras to become the first Midwestern member of this professional organization, which now numbers nearly 8,000 doctors around the globe. Joining the movement in its earliest stages, Dr. Costaras had the opportunity to train with the masters of the new science of cosmetic dentistry and learn the procedures which are widely sought today.
Dr. Costaras will be specifically working with patients who suffer from Temporomandibular Joint Disorders. As a general dentist he has dedicated his career to full mouth restorative and cosmetic dentistry, he is a Fellow of the International Academy of Dental Facial Esthetics and a Fellow of the Academy of Comprehensive Esthetics. Having reconstructed over 800 full mouth cases, Dr. Costaras is proficient in not only creating beautiful smiles, but accomplishing comfortable, functional occlusion as well. Knowing that a properly aligned bite has corrected many TMJ issues for his previous patients, Dr. Costaras furthered his training in the field of TMJ disorders and is a member of the Academy of Cranial Facial Pain. By adding Dr. Costaras to our team, our patients will benefit from a clinician who will see them through Phase I treatment (diagnosis and healing), as well as be able to offer permanent stabilization through Phase II treatment. Other options for Phase II treatment may include surgery in severe cases, or orthodontics to correct a misaligned bite.
